Priyadarshini Chatterjee was awarded the title of Miss India World in 2016, which sought to choose to a representative for the international Miss World pageant. She went on to representative her country in the competition and came in the top 20, including the top 5 for Beauty with a Purpose. Priyadarshini Chatterjee was also the first North-Eastern Indian to represent the nation at the renowned pageant.
Since her time representing India in the competition, Priyadarshini Chatterjee has experienced success as a model, television presenter and influencer. She has modelled for Indian designers such as Sabyasachi, Nykaa Fashion and Satya Paul. Priyadarshini Chatterjee has also been featured in reputable publications like Vogue India, Femina India and Grazia India as a model.
Priyadarshini Chatterjee, 24, was born in Dhubri and brought up in the city of Guwahati. She later moved to New Delhi to complete a bachelor’s degree. Priyadarshini Chatterjee later moved to Australia and struggled with being stuck in Melbourne during the 2020 Covid pandemic. However, Priyadarshini Chatterjee is currently back in India to visit her family.
